TO ACHIEVE WELLNESS AND FOSTER RESILIENCE.”

Welcome to our October newsletter!

As we head into fall, I want to invite you to come along with us at Key Peninsula Community Services. Take a look through this newsletter, join us for our upcoming activities, and see the many ways KPCS is showing up for our neighbors every day.

If you picked up the October 1 issue of KP News, you may have already seen our first glimpse of this year’s Feast or Famine fundraiser. This year, we’re bringing Feast or Famine home to our KPCS campus for a smaller, more intimate gathering and we’re excited to give you a closer look at the heart of what we do.

So much happens here that people may not realize. From our Senior Center and meal site to our Food Pantry, Bread & Produce Closet and Clothing Closet, we’re here to help our neighbors meet everyday needs and stay connected. Our Homeless Outreach team provides urgent support, connection to resources and case management, and we even offer laundry services right here at KPCS.

And then there are the things that keep it all moving: our food pantry trucks, senior bus, staff and the countless community members who make this work possible. Grants are incredibly important, but they don’t always cover the everyday operational costs that keep our programs running with fuel, vehicle maintenance, laundry supplies, staffing and all those little things that allow us to keep saying yes when a neighbor needs help.

That’s where our community comes in.

Between now and November, we’ll be sharing more opportunities to support KPCS through Feast or Famine. Please consider making a donation, joining us at the fundraiser, or simply sharing our story with someone who may not yet know all that happens right here at KPCS.

Come join us. Come see what we do. Come be part of the community that keeps it moving.

We’re grateful to have you with us. ❤️

Thank you,

Robyn Readwin
